Sign PDF
Draw your signature straight onto the page with the pen tool, then move, scale and rotate it until it sits where it belongs. On export the stroke becomes part of the page content, so the signature travels with the file.
Load the agreement, form or letter you need to sign. Nothing has to be printed, scanned or posted.
Press D or choose Draw / sign from the toolbar, then draw with a mouse, trackpad or touchscreen. Colour, stroke and opacity are all adjustable afterwards.
Drag the signature into the signature block, resize it from the handles, and duplicate it if the document needs initialling in several places.
Export flattens the stroke into the page so it renders identically in every PDF reader.
The usual routine — print, sign, scan, email, delete — costs a stack of paper and leaves you with a crooked grey photocopy. Drawing directly on the page keeps the document crisp and the text searchable.
Contracts that need initials on every page do not need a fresh drawing each time. Duplicate the element and drop the copies where they are needed.
Quill produces a visible, handwritten-style signature drawn into the page. That is a different thing from a cryptographic digital signature backed by a certificate, which binds an identity to the file and detects later tampering. If a counterparty specifically requires a certificate-based signature, this is not a substitute for one.
